Here’s your monthly Good Numbers update — a quick round-up of the what's happening in the world of small charities, and the tools we’re building to support them.
In 2024, the name Good Numbers came to life thanks to my good friend and colleague, Toni Duder. This year, we collaborated with the brilliant designer Nicola Pfister to craft the branding you see today. It’s been a year of shaping identity, sharpening purpose, and building something we’re proud to share with you.
2025 has been a year of real momentum for Good Numbers. Some other highlights include:
I’m looking for a few people to test-drive the new Good Numbers app. It’s a 30-minute chat about how you manage your finances, plus a short demo. This request is for people who help oversee the finances for a small charity (spending $140k or less per year).

No one had a complete start-to-finish guide to Tier 4 reporting—so we made one. It’s now one of our most popular resources, with organisations like Foundation North linking to it.
I’d love to see more groups sharing it with the small charities they support.
Launched this year, Fundsorter already lists 2,500+ funding opportunities.
I used it with an organisation recently. It not only surfaced great options, but it also helped guide people applying for funding for the first time. A brilliant tool for beginners and old hands alike.
